PhD position in biophysics (nanopores) available
Within the newly founded SFB “Forces in biomolecular systems”, a PhD project in nanopore force spectroscopy is available. DNA and RNA translocation through peptide pores is investigated electronically using patch clamp-related characterization techniques. Applicants should have a good knowledge in electronic measurement techniques, statistical data analysis, and should be ready to work in an interdisciplinary environment between biochemistry and biophysics.
