European company will begin making the nano-based clothes in the spring of 2010

Hungarian clothing company Eurotex will produce the clothing using cutting-edge textile technology that was initially developed for the Russian space program. The textiles will incorporate silver nanoparticles, which will allow for improved durability and less washing required to keep the clothes clean. Eurotex is Hungary’s largest private textile company; with this announcement, it also plans to hire 100 new employees to make the innovative clothing line.
